About
We made the verdict
the product.
Most AITA content reads like a news anchor doing improv. Both-sides hedging, sympathetic shrug, cliffhanger. We did the opposite.
Three guarantees
- Anonymization is load-bearing. No real names, ever. No photos, ever. Cover art is programmatic gradient + grain. This is not a stylistic choice. It is how we get to call ourselves an AITA app without becoming a doxxing app.
- The verdict has a stance. Group chat with a verdict. Never neutral journalist. Never AI-assistant boilerplate. Never sympathetic-both-sides shrug.
- Power-dynamics aware. When a case touches mental health, addiction, abuse, or vulnerability, the tone automatically de-escalates. The verdict still comes. The framing acknowledges weight.
The voice
One narrator. Jessica: bright, warm, and judgmental in the good way. Every case is performed word for word, with read-along text that lights up as she reads. One voice keeps the tone honest: the drama comes from the case, not from a character wheel.
What this app is not
- Not a Reddit republisher. We do not paste public posts verbatim.
- Not a true-crime show. The stakes are interpersonal, not legal.
- Not engagement-bait. Drama is genuine. We never pick a case to maximize outrage.
- Not infinite scroll. The catalog is curated, case by case. Quality over volume.
